Learn to Ask the Right Question!

How quickly time is moving in your reality these days! Are you feeling it? Are you aware that through breathing and meditation you can slow it down and enjoy a more restful pace… at least for the space of time you devote to your inner work! We ask you to try in the moments which you devote to reading this column. Take a deep breath… slowly in, pause, slowly out, pause… Imagine that the angels are gifting you with Unconditional Love in all its forms as you inhale and that they are receiving any waste from you on the exhale. Do you know what they do with the waste? They transform it and send it into the light for its next level of evolution! What a wonderful system… and all you have to do is breath! And once your energy is clear, continue to inhale the Unconditional Love and now exhale Unconditional Love… giving and receiving in perfect balance and at its best.

And so Greetings, dear friends! You are all growing so quickly and shining so brightly. We wish you could see yourselves from our perspective!

We recently had an interesting interaction with a friend (we’ll call her Carol for clarity’s sake). She called our channel to ask why her guidance had failed her. As we see it, that is impossible. This was our conversation:

Carol: I recently went to a book signing. A friend of mine was autographing her first published work. As I stood in line to congratulate her, I asked my Inner Guidance if it would be loving for me to buy the book (which was not on a topic which particularly interests me) and have her sign it. My guidance clearly answered, ‘Yes!’ Later when I got home and saw the price of the book my heart sank… it was very expensive and would have to come out of my already tight budget. Why didn’t my Inner Guidance say, ‘No!’?

Sarrinn: Your Inner Guidance answered your question in absolute truth… it was very loving for you to buy her book, have her sign it and congratulate her upon her success. This is the question you asked. The questions you might have asked were: ‘Will buying this book damage my budget and inner peace? Would it be alright and loving to simply congratulate her without buying the book?’

We share this example with you dear friends reading this to emphasize the need to ask the right question. Don’t be unfocused with your requests. Don’t be lazy, timid or even deliberately vague. When you ask questions of your Inner Guidance, your angels or whomever, seek clarity, accuracy and focused intent. Inner Guidance is very literal and tends to answer exactly as you have requested. Specificity works well!

When Carol asked if it would be loving to buy the book and have it signed, she was filled with a lovely warm feeling of joy, service, Unconditional Love and delight that she had an opportunity to give joy to her friend. Later, regret for overspending and guilt for another credit card charge caused her to feel terrible disappointment, mostly in herself.

And then the down-spiral begins. Disappointment leads to self-judgment and to lower and lower levels of resonance. Thoughts become more negative. Negative thoughts create negative vibration and negative vibration attracts and creates negative reality.

All from one moment of trying to do the most loving thing, but asking the wrong question to determine what that loving action might be.

We reminded Carol that the gift of Unconditional Love, support and joy she gave to her friend was still intact. It was freely given and gratefully received.

We also helped Carol to learn to rephrase her questions and to give herself the gift of centering and time (and breathing) while she designed her questions and before she actually asked them.

As we watch you all trying to access your Inner Guidance we see that the most difficult part is self-honesty. Most of you are so dedicated to ‘doing the right thing’ and to ‘being of service to the world’.  We honor you for your dedication and your courage!

If you are worried about your loved ones overseas, expand your request from, “Let there be World Peace” to “Let there be World Peace and peace and love for myself and my dear ones, too.”

If you are worried about personal finances: Rephrase your request from “Is it okay to buy this thing?” to “Will buying this thing enhance my financial freedom and strength as well as my true path? Or is this purchase merely a fleeting need of ego?”

Or, even simpler: “Does this choice make me stronger, or does it weaken me?”

And, “Does this choice feel good, or does it feel bad?”

Your Inner Guidance will always answer you honestly and quickly… can you hear us?

We also ask you to remember, you can not give to the world what you do not possess. So before you offer peace, have inner peace. Before you offer to serve, serve yourself. Before you teach joy, growth, Unconditional Love, freedom or any other teaching you may feel guided to share… be that, have that, know that, live that.

You are an expression of God/Goddess/All That Is experiencing life on this planet and in this dimension for the purpose of growing God/Goddess/All That Is. There are so many ways to enjoy this experience. Why not choose the one with the highest resonance you can possibly imagine… and then, as this becomes your custom, challenge yourself to move beyond imagination with your Soul as your partner?

The other sticky wicket of the question and answer process is receiving. We are continually amazed at how poorly you wonderful beings receive! You act as if it is terrible, selfish, egocentric, mean, greedy… you get the picture! But in actuality, without a balance of giving and receiving the success that you envision cannot happen. Do you wish to hear your Inner Guidance clearly? Hearing equals receiving. Do you wish to be a generous donator to charities and worthy causes? How can you give generous donations  without receiving the money or time you wish to donate? Do you wish to be the finest parent you can be? Where does the love and patience you give to your children generate from but your own heart… and how did that love and patience get there?

Have you ever been offered a compliment? “Wow, Sarah, what a lovely dress you are wearing!” and did you respond with, “Oh, this old thing?” or “Actually, I got it on sale… “

Perhaps it was more like, “Geoffrey, that work you did for the firm was excellent!” and the response might have sounded like, “It was just something I threw together.”  Are you aware that with those words you threw the gift of love (the compliment) right back in their faces?

It is truly time for you to learn to simply say ‘thank you’ and receive the compliment and all the positive resonance that accompanies it. Unconditional Love is the food of the Soul… Feed your Soul extravagantly and then feel how much more you have to give and share as a result of that ecstatic process!

The other thing that happens, especially when it comes to receiving answers from your Inner Guidance, is you don’t trust what you get. For example:  You ask the question “Will this beautiful crystal be a good choice for me to buy and to work with for freedom, growth and joy?” This is a very specific question. Next you hear the answer, “No.” And what do you do? You ask, “Are you sure? I think I heard you wrong… Do you know I really want this crystal? Can’t I have it please?” This is a very obvious downward spiral born of need and foggy thinking. Be honest with yourself. If you’re going to buy it anyway (or do whatever anyway, etc.) don’t ask your Inner Guidance to justify your choice. Just do it and be responsible for the results. Your Inner Guidance was not designed to be your scape goat. And as you dicker with your Inner Guidance you both will lose trust of the process. And this process is way too dear to be squandered.

And so we ask you now, “What do you want?” We can hear the answer… so clear, so focused… can you?

We love you so dearly… and we are here for all of you!
