A Project for January: Channeling 101

Welcome, Masters! It is always a pleasure and a privilege to share with you within the pages of this wonderful journal. And it is with deep gratitude that we open our energy fields for this channeling.

Our channel has asked us to share some ideas for special focuses during the winter months and channeling is the topic of choice for January.  With the passing of the Harmonic Concordance the veils which have caused conscious channeling to be difficult for so many have been virtually eliminated. Because of this evolutionary change channeling becomes a choice for all. And in truth every one of you glorious beings channels constantly and you always have.

 Energy and thoughts are constantly moving between the dimensions to you and from you. You channel your Higher Selves, the communications of your own Souls, your Guides, your spiritual family and much, much more. The difference now, as we perceive it, is that we can finally pursue this line of energy as a friendship, a relationship that is alive, powerful, joyful, loving and real. We and all others like us are elated and we hope to share this energy of vibrant sharing with each of you.

So as we continue, please take a moment to center yourself. Be aware of the energy of love that flows into and out of your own heart center. Surround and fill yourself with 100% Pure Divine Light and Unconditional Love. And open your imagination to new possibilities as yet unknown.

In truth, there are as many pathways to channeling as there are beings upon your planet. What we will offer here are a few simple steps to help those of you who are neophytes get started or perhaps to help those of you who are seasoned veterans realign or re-stimulate your present abilities.

1^st : And foremost, as you focus your intention to begin the communication, whether by meditation, prayer, crystals or something of your own design, we suggest you ask for and require that any and all energies you channel be aligned with Divine Light and Unconditional Love, or, 100% Pure Divine Light, or, some version of these. Not all energies are at the same resonance or frequency of understanding. We feel it is wonderful, natural protection and wise procedure to require the highest resonance with which you are capable of communicating, i.e. the Divine. We suggest that you make this request so natural to you that your alignment with Pure Divine Light is never forgotten… that it is your first dedication in the morning as you awaken and your last dedication at night as you drift into sleep. Ignoring or avoiding this activation is sloppy and thoughtless workmanship which can lead you to difficulties which are totally unnecessary. Rather than blaming the devil for the results of shoddy workmanship, claim your own power and responsibility so that you may live in Divine Light and Love in every moment, whether you are channeling or not.

2^nd: Journaling is one of the topics which makes eyes roll… Many of you are simply tired of hearing this suggestion from so many teachers and counselors. However, the truth is that so many advocate journaling because it is a powerful tool. As it pertains to channeling, we suggest that you obtain the nicest journal which you can afford without guilt or sacrifice and a special pen to go with it. Why? Because if you feel these tools are distinctive you will enjoy them more, keep better track of them and feel energized when you use them. Next, be aware that as you decide to journal/channel, in the momentum of getting up from your chair, going to your bookshelf or desk and picking up your special tools… you are already beginning the process. This focused intention informs your subconscious, your superconscious and, of course,  your guides that you are ready to work and you are taking action. 

Once you have settled down with your channeling tools, remember to dedicate your work to Divine Light and Love and then open the journal to two blank pages. On the left hand page, write a letter to your guide. Within this letter, ask a few clear questions. And keep the letter short… no longer than the single page. And remember to sign the letter as you would any other… for example: With love, Tania.

Then, without any break or interruptions, shift over to the second or right hand page and write the answering letter from your guide. This is easier than it sounds. Simply imagine what your guide would write if he or she were holding the pen and write this on their behalf. (Please note that this is not automatic writing. You are in control of the pen and are simply allowing the words to flow through your imagination and into conscious expression on the page before you.)

Let this answering letter go as many pages as your inspiration takes it. Intend to answer all the questions you asked in your opening letter (for this will make it so!) and let the closing include the name of your guide. If you have trouble receiving that name, make one up! Your guide won’t mind and chances are you will intuit the correct name anyway!

Afterward, if you reread your writing immediately, you will probably be unimpressed and feel as if you knew all that stuff already. If you reread it about a week later, we suspect you will be delighted with the power of the response. Keep this exercise going at regular intervals which are comfortable and fun for you and your skill will grow quickly.

3^rd: Grounding helps the channeling immensely. Some of you believe it will turn it off but the truth is that grounding amplifies the psychic connection. Without grounding, it will be hard to verbalize the information in the physical world. Plus, did you know that grounding is your gift to your guide? Think of it this way… When you raise your resonance to channel you lift your natural frequency high enough to ‘hear’ the wisdom of your guide. What must your guide do to facilitate this wonderful connection? Your guide most activate access to lower frequencies. When you practice grounding you offer your guide the service of easy and elegant modification with a superbly clarified connection.
            Our suggestion is that you imagine that your heart center is made of glorious emerald green and divine golden light. See the gold light shine up through your crown chakra and continue up to the heavens as you lift your resonance. And, likewise, imagine that emerald green light shines down from your heart, out the bottoms of both feet and your tail bone and then shines down all the way to the heart center of the earth. This is true and perfect grounding. Both of these can be in place twenty four hours a day, every day, with no diminution of your ability to function well within your own dimension or others and this grounding supports and enhances your guide’s ability to communicate with you.

4^th : If you are having trouble getting started we suggest that your throat chakra might  need activation. To do this simply center yourself, do the grounding exercise described above and then speak or write a few simple sentences. Beginning with a lovely dedication works powerfully: “I welcome my guides from Divine Light and Love.”  As our channel began this communication today, we used, “Welcome, Masters!” Prayer (which is often defined as ‘speaking to God/Goddess/All That Is’) is a wonderful throat chakra activator. Find what works for you and use it well and often.

And once your communication chakra is open and flowing, please remember to honor the privacy and freedom of others. As you begin to receive more and more guidance about your world and perhaps the worlds of others, you will find it appropriate to only share channeled information which has been requested. In most cases, volunteered information of this sort comes from the space of ‘control and manipulation’. If you feel you must share what you have received at least ask the other person if he or she wants to hear it and then honor their choice. If they say no, accept it.

5^th:  Feel the communication you are experiencing. The more you believe and feel the       love that flows through such transmissions, the clearer and more healing the message will be. If the channeling makes you feel bad in any way, we suggest you stop immediately  and cleanse your energy field before trying again. Also, when you do try next, remember to require that only guides of Divine Light and Love share the channeling with you. This type of channeling will help you feel healed, empowered, loved and inspired… it will not make you feel bad, depressed, tired or possessed.

6^th: Let your imagination participate! Imagination is the true reality… what you experience as reality is actually the illusion. Therefore, to accomplish most things it helps to consider that imagination is one of the most powerful tools you possess. We love to join our channel in the world of her imagination where we can share and play, work and learn.

And actually you are the imagined experience of your Soul… your Soul’s meditation! Are you aware of that? If so, you can become the cocreator of your experience as you join your Soul in the writing/imagining of your own story. And if you allow your Soul to take your story beyond imagination and into the realms of the unknown (always in the energy of Divine Light and Love) the results you will experience will delight you!

7^th: “If the only prayer you say in your whole life is ‘thank you’, that would be enough.” Meister Eckhart.

From our perspective, 2004 is The Year of Gratitude. Gratefulness has always been the glue which holds things together… whether it be relationships, healing, finances… whatever you create in your life is enhanced and strengthened by this holy adhesive. We suggest that you enter every channeling session in the energy of gratitude and, similarly that you finish each session with thankfulness. In this way you turn up the volume on your work… both the in-flow and the out-flow. Be grateful for every mustard seed of experience you have ever endured for they have all been essential to the creation of who you are in this moment today. As you channel, be grateful for the opportunity being offered by your guides and be grateful for the Unconditional Love which they share with you in every session. Be grateful to yourself for your tenacity and curiosity… even for your skepticism and disbelief. Gratitude blesses everything and everyone it touches, in this dimension or the next. Let it be your most blessed tradition and the cloak which warms you for ever and a day.

Channeling is as natural to all the beings of creation as breath is to life in your dimension. May it serve you well and, for now, may it be the bridge which allows your relationship with those in other dimensions be a sacred and honored friendship.
