In-Breath...Out-Breath... Welcome once more to you all, and namasté! May has always been a month of inspiration for humanity and nature alike. In southern climates gardens, both floral and vegetable, are planted and producing first results. In northern climes, the sun warms you… finally… and the trials of winter begin to fade from memory. Hope… healing… inspiration! In honor of the energy of ‘inspiration’ we wish to address the topic of your own Divine balance in the form of your in breath and your out breath. Simplistically, in-breathing is the energy of receiving. With every inhale you take in air, molecules, energy… so many things! Scientists who analyze the essence of an in-breath find almost too many things to enumerate. But, we suggest that you simplify this. With every in-breath, you inhale God/Goddess/All That Is. How can this be? It is because, in truth, Source is all that exists. There is nothing else. It would be impossible (and not just theoretically!) to inhale anything other than God. And, every in breath is an act of surrender to the Divine. Yes, we did write the ’s’ word! Please do not get lost in archaic definitions of surrender! Remember, surrender as it is defined here is a blending with, aligning with and acceptance of the resonance of God/Goddess/All That Is. This is an empowerment, not a disempowerment. And it is the Source given right of every being on your planet! So why are so many of you choking on the concept of in-breathing God? Because most humans have not dealt with their obstacles. What is meant by that? An obstacle is that thing which you believe you must change in order to be one with Source. What do you believe you must add to your personality or Soul in order to deserve the love and attention of the Divine? Must you be more pious? Do you need to be healthier? Richer? Poorer? Happier? More peaceful? More effective in your job? A saint? Likewise obstacles are made of what you feel you must eliminate… anger? Resentment? Judgment? Gossip? Disease? Hate? Envy? The list is virtually endless! Why is this important in a discussion about in-breath? Because… as you breathe in Source, that wondrously divine energy which is totally without prejudice, will empower and activate whatever is in your resonant signature (note: your resonant signature is your aura). This is called ‘co-creation’ and it is the whole point! Remember the relentless teaching, ‘What you think about is what you create?’ It is during the in-breath that your thoughts are given life. If you are thinking passionately about something while you are in-breathing (and we truly suspect that you are) then you are creating that thing quite quickly as well. And what of the out-breath? Having created and vitalized your thoughts with the in-breath, the out-breath is how you send your beloved creation out into the universe! The out breath is the actual act of co-creation which concludes with your own personal reality. When you are divinely inspired while you in and out-breathe, wondrous days are followed by even more wondrous days! It is the original plan for this world at its best. It is the way to create heaven on earth… So what’s the problem? We feel that the primary problem is the unconscious state of most people. Very few live consciously, focused clearly and positively on what the present moment is presenting for them to enjoy. If this is true, then where is their focus? For most it is a constant stream of unconscious thoughts and thought forms from their past. And energy follows thought 100% of the time… So what would the present moment look like for one who creates in this way? And what would the future look like for this same person? It would have to look like the past! Even as circumstances change, the new circumstances would be played out with the knowings and tools of the past… not the new observations and learnings of the present or the divine potential of the future! Do you wonder what your future will be like? For most of you, the way to answer that is to look at your past and your present. You are stuck in an automatically repeating tape which will continue looping until… “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting new results.” Benjamin Franklin If you want to ‘stop the insanity’, do something different… something new. Make a change and you will change the outcomes you are repeating. Why not begin with learning to live consciously and with your thought focus where you are? If you are a multi-tasker, try doing at least one task each day with singular attention to that one job. It is impossible to be completely focused in the present while you are multi-tasking. Or perhaps your habit is to have a constant stream of regrets circling in your thoughts. If this is your pattern then you are definitely stuck in the past and creating present and future experiences from that influence. Are you reliving the unfair, bad luck, victimizations of your childhood? Your first marriage? Your teachers, parents or bosses? If so, these are creating your life even now! Is that what you want? Yes, we know that old habits are hard to break. So don’t try to break them… replace them. Have you ever talked with someone who is having trouble giving up smoking? Most of them think thoughts like, ‘These things are going to kill me… ‘ or ‘I’ve got to stop!’ the entire time they are inhaling (i.e. in-breathing) the smoke. This is called resistance and it will seldom lead to the successful cessation of this world-wide addiction. So, well in-breathing that cigarette, change your thoughts to, ‘I love my body’ or something similar and you will be surprised with the results! Will they be instantaneous? Probably not, but how long have you been thinking the negative thoughts with every inhale? And do you feel you must do something to earn the results you desire? (i.e. Is there an unconscious obstacle to successful action?) Secondly, finally get control of your thoughts! Negative thoughts create a negative life. Positive thoughts create a positive life. Period. End of story… It is fine to learn a new mantra while you smoke (or drink excessively, or gamble irresponsibly, etc.), but what about the rest of your days and nights? Are you like the people who meditate on world peace for an hour every day and then spend the other 23 hours in angry and endless mind chatter about anything and everything? We are suggesting that you learn to live 24/7 feeling the joy of world peace. As such, you are one of its primary creators! Third, know your dream. If you have no idea where you wish to go, how will you know when you get there? If your dream is to be a corporate president, know this. If your dream is to be an enlightened being, know this. You needn’t be constrained by old teachings about goal setting, but you would be very wise to have a goal. And if it isn’t as lofty as your parents wanted or as grand as those of your friends, so what?! It is not about what you do… it is about how you do it. Fourth, study your own inner beliefs and truths and learn what your obstacles to surrendering with God are and then do something about them! If you know you have issues about deserving, learn what you must to heal those issues. If you believe you have leftover vows from past lives which are destroying your joy, disavow them! If you have had a difficult life, forgive it and feel gratitude for all you have learned from those difficulties. And fifth, when you know what your dream is, establish it in your future (i.e. set a goal) and then in your present fill your resonant signature with that desire. Live it incessantly by filling your thoughts with it. Live it relentlessly by filling your meditations with it. Live it unremittingly until your entire resonant signature advertises your clear and focused intention with the passion and drive it takes to co-create the reality. Your in-breath and your out-breath are intended to synchronize your world by constantly balancing you. Your in-breath focuses you inward and your Soul celebrates the flow. Your out-breath serves by giving gifts of your choosing… gifts of the resonance you hold in that moment… and this is co-creation. With the first breath you took as a baby, you received life and the divine spark of Source began its acquaintance with your present physical experience. And with your last out-breath you will leap joyfully from your worn-out vehicle and dance your way into ‘more’. Between those two breaths are many present moments which are the result of your own personal efforts. What do you choose your present moment to be? Our gift to you: Source Breath In-Breath: Breathe slowly and evenly at the rhythm which is natural and pleasant to your system. Be conscious of your breath, at least in the beginning as you are learning the true potential of this deceptively simple breathing style. Envision the divine light of Source surrounding you and imagine breathing it in from everywhere… Don’t narrow your focus to your crown chakra only… let every cell of your body be a portal through which the Source energy enters your being. Out-Breath: With each exhale imagine the Source light moving outward to All That Is from every cell of your body. When you offer healing energy it is lovely to feel the Source light traveling out your arms and out your palms into the being your are helping. The inhale of Divine Light is your gift to receive. The exhale is your gift of divine light and love to give…
