Expectations

Happy August, Lightworkers!
This week began for me filled with expectations... The last week of July and into the first week of August is when my sweetie and I go on vacation. For 17 years now we have flown to the air show in Oshkosh Wisconsin and pitched a tent under the wing of our airplane, enjoyed life without work or telephones, TV or computers... Just enjoyed our pilot friends, most of whom we only see once a year, and the peace and freedom that comes with a favorite vacation experience.
This year, Mother Nature changed the program! Just the day before we
were scheduled to leave, there was so much rain in
Wisconsin that the airport flooded and turned into a muddy mess. It
became impossible to taxi airplanes around the soggy fields and
very undesirable to pitch tents in it, too!
As I write this, the field has been drying for four days and they expect
to keep the airport closed to camping and twins (we fly a twin) for at
least one more day.

Namasté, Lightworkers! We love the topic of expectation! Why? Because almost every human walking your planet today is filled with expectations... to the brim and overflowing! And we agree... if held in with a light grip, they can be a lovely energy... but how many do so?
August would be a wonderful month to examine your expectations and consider if you have any which are ready (or even overdue) for release! And what is the easiest and most elegant way to release an expectation? Replace it with one which honors your path now...
So what is it about an expectation? Expectations are about something that you want that you feel has a good probability of happening. And you make them happen by thinking about them... filling them with emotion... talking about them... Aren't those the steps taught by those who work with the Laws of Attraction and Allowing?
Many have said that the enlightened life is one lived without expectation. We disagree. We feel that the one living an enlightened life will use the tools of physical reality well and appropriately and that sometimes, that includes expectation.
Thoughts do create reality... Emotions expand that creation energy exponentially... And verbalizing those thoughts, whether out loud, in a journal or even in a blog, creates law.
If this is so, why don't all your expectations come true? Because, dear Lightworker, the power of manifestation is in the heart of your Soul... not your ego and most human expectations are ego based! Add to this that you live in a world which has many group contracts in place and, sometimes, you simply come up to one of those. \
Now is the time... No one will be 'left behind'... You are deeply and unconditionally loved...
