Probably the most requested teachings these days are those which help people to begin to access their own wisdom and inner guidance... In January of 2004, Sarrinn and the Ancients offered an article with 7 steps to improve or awaken your channeling abilities... This month it feels timely to revisit that information and to ask these beautiful guides what they would like to add to their original work...

1 - Focus Your Intent
First and foremost, as you focus your intention to begin the communication [...] we suggest you ask for and require that any and all energies you channel be aligned with divine light and unconditional love or 100 percent pure divine light or some variation of this. Not all energies are at the same resonance or frequency of understanding. [...] Rather than blaming the devil for the results of shoddy workmanship, claim your own power and responsibility so that you may live in divine light and love in every moment, whether you are channeling or not.
How long can you hold your focus on one thought? This question was not asked in our original article... we feel it is very important to ask it now. Why? Because today so many of you are focusing your thoughts on fearful concepts and staying focused with such impassioned negativity that we are watching many of you living in a fast, downward spiral.
What you hold in your thoughts for more than 33 seconds (perfect focus!) will manifest. If your thoughts jump around more often than that and you simply hold the focus of 'feeling bad' for more than 33 seconds, you will certainly create more of that experience.
We suggest you practice focusing your thoughts on something positive (kittens and puppies? cute babies? Christmas? chocolate?) and learn to hold that thought for 33 seconds... imbue it with unconditional love and the results will be miraculous!
