Choose your labels well...

Happy June, Everyone!

 

I was recently involved in a very interesting conversation about religion and the labels which follow our connection to whichever path aligns with our own. My friends were surprised to hear that I am often asked by clients if I'm a Christian or a Wiccan or what?

 

And the truth is I'm a bit of it all. I love the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament as well as the compassionate guidance of Buddhism and the earthy love of Wicca. When I became ordained several years ago it was with the Universal Brotherhood... an interfaith church which honors all paths and all religions.

 

My son who was in on the conversation said, "Well, I guess that makes you a Zen Christian Mystic!" I like that... kind of covers the bases and leaves room for expansion into the unknown!

 

 

Ever wonder what to 'say' if you are faced with negative, new or unusual/unknown energies? One group of teachers from the Pleiades suggests that you connect with them in your meditation and say something like:

 

"We shine our light outwards: leave if you are not from Love." [With this statement,] beings who do not come in Love cannot stay."

 

and:

 

"Oh, poor thing. You don't have any Love. You need Love. I'll love you."

Religion or Spirituality?

Namasté, Lightworkers! What is the ideal religion? The Dalai Lama has said that it is the one which fills your heart with love and teaches you compassion. And we agree...

 

It is also interesting to consider that "God/Goddess created spirituality and humankind created religion. God/Goddess said 'Love!' and humankind said 'and here are the rules!'"

 

And the rules created religions... filled with blessings, compassion and love... and filled as well with beliefs which might not work for everyone.

 

The job is for each  human Soul to find their unique Spiritual path. If that path aligns with a religion then you have been blessed with a like-minded group which will be a blessing for you to work with!

 

And perhaps your group is not defined as a religion... perhaps it is family or friends or coworkers... even guides and guardians.

 

The key is to follow the spiritual path of love... ALL ELSE FOLLOWS THAT!

Now is the time... No one will be 'left behind'... You are deeply and unconditionally loved...
